It’s a javascript function, so if your template doesn’t support it you could always wrap your content individually. But that’s part of my rant too, I guess, is that you’re putting stuff on the internet, it’s going to get taken, and a little bit of javascript is not going to do anything when the source code is two button presses away. 

There are three options, IMO, either offer it up freely, apply a creative commons licence (the best one) or consider your work to be under traditional copyright, pretend no one is doing anything with it, and take vigorous action every time some of your stuff goes somewhere unintended.
